Finding bargains today is perhaps not entirely impossible, but given the offer of luxury villa rentals in Ibiza in high season at prices well below their real value, you can find yourself before an assured fraud. Scammers have found in some of the most important portals in the country, such as Airbnb, a perfect combo for an almost infallible scam.
The multinational AIRBNB continues to stick to its usage policy, noting: “Airbnb provides a secure platform for people to find, reserve and advertise unique accommodations around the world.”
They also highlight that “we work together with Google to report false web pages and eliminate them.”
At this time AIRBNB continues to offer through its website, two exclusive villas in Ibiza through people who have not been authorized by the owners of the houses, that even don’t know them with more than probable fake profile pictures. These are totally fraudulent ads. Despite repeated requests from the owners and legitimate agencies that market them, AIRBNB has not withdrawn the ads.
