Ibiza 2026: provisional schedule of nightclub closures
Every year, when the summer season in Ibiza comes to an end, the nightclubs start announcing their closing parties. These closing parties mark the end of months of events, international DJ residencies, and some of the most famous parties on the island.
Although changes may still occur, several provisional closing dates for the 2026 season are already known, especially during the first half of October.
Here is a summary of the schedule announced so far.
First closures of October
The first weekend of October hosts several of the most anticipated closing parties.
On Friday, October 2, the closing of David Guetta’s Galactic Circus will take place, one of the most talked-about residencies of the season. That same day, Calvin Harris’s longest residency at Ushuaïa will also come to an end, which has gathered thousands of attendees every week during the summer.
On Saturday, October 3rd, it will be the turn of two important parties. On one hand, the Closing Party of elrow, known for its visual productions and festive atmosphere. That same day, Soul Heaven at O Beach will also close.
Events during the first week of October
In the following days, farewells continue for several prominent residences.
On Monday, October 5, Sonny Fodera’s season at Pacha will come to an end, one of the most popular house parties of the summer.
On Tuesday, October 6, the Kisstory Closing Party will be held at O Beach, an event focused on R&B sounds, hip-hop, and UK garage classics.
On Thursday, October 8, Defected will close at Chinois, the well-known house music brand that each season brings together international DJs and artists from the label.
Latest notable closures
The second week of October also includes some important dates.
On Friday, October 9, two significant closures coincide:
Music On at Pacha, the party created by Marco Carola.
Glitterbox at Amnesia, one of the most iconic disco and house music events.
Finally, O Beach will close its season on Sunday, October 11, marking the end of its daytime parties and pool parties calendar.
A still provisional calendar
As happens every year in Ibiza, the closing dates may be adjusted or new events added as the season progresses. However, this calendar offers a first reference for those planning to visit the island in early October.
